Benefits of Sauna

and contrast therapy

  • Improves Circulation

Heat dilates blood vessels, boosting blood flow and oxygen delivery. Cold constricts the blood vessels removing waste and reducing swelling.

  • Supports Heart Health

Regular sauna use has been linked to reduced blood pressure and lower risk of cardiovascular disease, due to the ‘vascular work out’ created when blood vessels are forced to dilate and constrict.

  • Aids Muscle Recovery

Increased circulation, means more oxygen and nutrients are delivered to the muscles, flushing out metabolic waste like lactic acid, and reducing soreness.

  • Boosts Immunity

Heat raises core body temperature, triggering immune responses similar to a natural fever, promoting production of more white blood cells, making it harder for pathogens to survive.

  • Promotes Detoxification

Circulation is increased activating the lymphatic system, the body's natural waste removal. The liver does most of this work and by imporiving your overall wellbeing this will naturally improve your liver function.

  • Improves Skin Health

Heat boosts circulation delivering nutrients, opens pores for deep cleansing and activates heat shock proteins for cellular repair, leading to clearer, firmer, and more resilient skin.

  • Reduces Stress

Short bursts of controlled stress triggers the release of endorphin, boots serotonin and reduces cortisol, easing tension while increasing mental resilience and tolerance to everyday stress.ere

  • Promotes Relaxation

Calms the nervous system, by activating the parasympathetic nervous system lowing cortisol, endorphins are released promoting feelings of well being.

  • Improves Sleep

Reducing stress, balancing the nervous system, and regulating hormones, leads to deeper relaxation and a better internal body clock and more restful nights sleep.

  • Mental Detox
